"Woolicious" Mittens Tags

Happy Thursday crafters! Today I have a really fun project featuring the Winter Wood Cuts stamp set. In a couple of weeks my sister and I are going to be selling our handmade wares at a Holiday Bazaar.  My sister makes these amazing "woolicious" mittens that are super warm.  She makes them using recycled wool sweaters.

So I decided to make some handcrafted little tags to go with the mittens- these tags can also be used for your Christmas presents.

I just love the detail in this stamp.  The mittens were stamped with Versafine Black ink, embossed with clear embossing powder, and colored with Copic markers.
The tags were cut from patterned paper using a Tim Holtz Thinlits die.

Now I have to make 30 more of these tags for all the sets of mittens! I best get busy!

Thanks for joining me today and stay tuned to the Aviary for more great inspiration from the PWP design team!
Embrace Imperfection!
Pam

For  this week's inspiration I chose to use a background stamp from My Favorite Things and also a stamp set from Paper Smooches.
These owls are just super cute!
For the background I stamped the MFT stamp with Versamark ink and then used Pan Pastels to color the wood with various shades of brown.
The owls/sentiment  were stamped with Memento Tuxedo black and colored with Copics!
Here's a close up:

And of course I fussy cut the owls and adhered them using my Xyron 3" Sticker Maker!

Loves Rubber Stamps Challenge #155 Spots & Dots DT Inspiration

Good Morning all and Happy Tuesday! Looks like some T-storms coming our way today so it may be a quiet day on the golf course today! (We live on a golf course overlooking the 18th hole, so this is a busy time of year for us!),
This week's Loves Rubber Stamps Challenge is SPOTs & DOTS so I thought I would go with a golf themed card and simulate the dimples of the golf ball as the SPOTS and DOTS for my DT inspiration  card.

For this card I used the Simon Says Stamp Tiny dots stencil with texture paste and masked off a circle in the middle for the stamped image.  Just love this technique - thanks to Jennifer McGuire and gang and the Mask-erade online class! The circle mask was cut with a Spellbinders Nestabilities circle die from plain white paper and then I ran it through the Xyron Creative Station- loaded with the 5"repositionable adhesive to make my own masking paper!! (video to come soon!)
I framed the entire piece with paper straws- ran them through my Xyron Creative Station (9" Permanent adhesive) to adhere.

Supplies:
Paper Smooches Paper Smooches My Guy Stamps
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Copic Markers
Spellbinders Nestabilities Medium Circle Die
Ranger Non Stick Craft Mat
Ranger Texture Paste
Simon Says Stamp Tiny Dots Stencil
Xyron Creative Station
Xyron 5" Repositionable Adhesive Cartridge
Xyron 9" Permanent Adhesive Cartridge
Paper Straws
Neenah Solar White Card Stock

So stop on over and join the fun this week for the Loves Rubber Stamps SPOTS & DOTS challenge

I am entering this project in the Paper Smooches Sparks Anything Goes challenge!
