Rainbow Challenge!

Rainbow Challenge!

My wonderful girlfriend made this for the rainbow challenge.  She is just starting out with stamping and card making!  I am so impressed with her progress.  She used the watercolor background technique that we learned from Jennifer McGuire's video tutorial.  I LOVE the colors!  Great job BABE!
Background is dry embossed with Happy Birthday embossing folder and main image stamped and embossed with white embossing powder onto watercolor paper.  Tim Holtz distress inks used to create the watercolor effect background.  I just love how this card came out!!

A Blog Named Hero: Challenge #38: Roy G. Biv

This was my entry for the rainbow card challenge.  Wanted to go clean and simple!!  Made this as an anniversary card for some friends of ours. Used the rainbow colors of Tim Holtz distress inks: festive berries, spiced marmalade, squeezed lemonade, mowed lawn, salty ocean, and seedless preserves. All stamped on bright white card stock....with the simple happy anniversary sentiment.
