Loves Rubber Stamps Challenge #151 Add a Sentiment
Design Team Inspiration
Come join the fun for this week's challenge!
Although this card looks like it may just have a stamped background- that is not the case. The background here was created by embossing through a stencil. Distress ink was applied (in a rainbow pattern and blended) first through the stencil using a blending tool. Although Distress ink remains wet enough to just then apply the clear embossing powder, I also applied Versamark Watermark Ink over the distress for better coverage. After heating the background has a super shine.
The sentiment was then stamped onto Neenah Solar white card stock with Memento Tuxedo black ink and cut out by running through my die cut machine, using a Spellbinders Nestabilities circle die. A rainbow array of distress ink was then applied to the edges of the circle.
To make the card look like a wrapped present- I added a large width ribbon adhered by running through my Xyron Creative Station. I just love this sentiment- especially that it's in a circle pattern from Creative Vision Stamps.
Supplies:
MFT Stencil
Clear Embossing Powder
Ribbon
Corner Rounder
Neenah Solar White card stock
Dimensional Foam Tape (homemade with Xyron Creative Station)
