Creative Vision Stamps Showcase

Hello everyone! I want to share with you today a project using Creative Vision Stamps that is just perfect for summer!  Of course when I think of summer I immediately think of the ocean, the sun, the beach etc.  So this ocean scene card is just the thing to celebrate the sights and sounds of summer!

The card features the stamp Clownfish.  This is a fantastic stamp to color-I used copics to get the bright orange and darker shadows of these incredible fish!

The background is a simple stencil mono print using a Dylusions stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress ink. The "seaweed" was creating using a Tim Holtz die (Festive Greens) and adhered by running through my Xyron Creative Station loaded with the 5" Permanent adhesive! This is the best for adhering detailed die cuts! And the clownfish were fussy cut and "popped" off the page using homemade Xyron dimensional foam adhesive.

Creative Vision Stamps are fantastic- you will not believe the amazing quality and how well they stamp with virtually any ink! Be sure to check them out here! Laura has some fun new Halloween releases and more to come.

Enjoy these beautiful days of summer!
Embrace Imperfection!

  3. I just had to tell you what a fabulous card this is! I really love how you arranged the fish and made them a focal point. The colors are so bright and happy and reminiscent of summer and the ocean and everything good about this time of year. I also thought it was so clever of you to use a simple stenciled background when your fish are so POW and fancy-- it's a beautiful visual contrast. Thanks so much for sharing this stunning piece with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
